Magnier is an Irish business magnate, a former co-owner of soccer giant Manchester United and Ireland's leading thoroughbred stud owner. While his fortune is in the realms of speculation, The Sunday Independent estimated his wealth at €910 million (£756 million), although this is very conservative as Coolmore Stud (the world's largest breeding operation of thoroughbred racehorses) is valued at more than €4 billion alone not to mention his extensive personal property empire across the world and other investments and holdings.
