Essentially a rebadged V35 Nissan Skyline, the G35 sedan's origins trace back to October 1999 from the Nissan XVL sports sedan concept. Eventually, it would enter production in March 2002, three months before the Coupe, but ended production earlier, in August 2006 after a 2005 model year facelift. While most enthusiasts focus on the coupe for this generation, the sedan deserves just as much attention because not only a modestly performing 260 hp V6 is under the hood paired with a RWD drivetrain with a 6-speed manual option, but the G35x, an all-wheel drive variant of the G-Series, only came in sedan configuration.
