2006-11-16 - Deadly Crane Accident

Bellevue, Washington (WA), US
Nov 16, 2006

"Tower 333" in Belleview, Washington where a large boom crane fell over, crushing part of an apartment building, killing one person. Tower 333 is a 20-story, 430,000-square-foot office building that was formerly known as the Bellevue Technology Tower, and was once considered by Google for a Belleview office.

You will notice in the sat pic that this building looks to be under construction, and there is actually a crane similar to the one that fell over, but this is coincidence. Not the same.

Explaination of last paragraph of description:

The building had been started, but than money backing ran out and it was on hold. At that time, the original crane (pictured) was taken down. After about a year, the project got going again and the new crane was put up.
