2009 Massereene Barracks shooting

March 7, 2009 two British soldiers of the 38 Engineer Regiment (Mark Quinsey and Patrick Azimkar) were shot and killed after walking outside the barracks for a pizza delivery. Two other soldiers and the two delivery men were wounded as well. The shooters arrived by car and shot as the soldiers came out. The shooters then got out of the car and fired at close range.

The "Real IRA" claimed responsibility. Three men were arrested but none of the charges stuck.
