2014 Winter Olympic Flame

The cauldron at the Sochi Olympic Park was lit on February 7, 2014, during the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games. Two legendary Russian athletes worked together to light the cauldron - ice hockey goaltender Vladislav Tretiak and figure skater Irina Rodnina.
