In the mid 2010s, Yamaha introduced two virtually identical sportbikes to compete with rivals such as the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR300R, which were the 249 cc YZF-R25 of 2014 and 321 cc YZF-R3 of 2015. Only the latter made it to the U.S. market, however. The I2 42-hp motorcycle can reach 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and is able to reach a top speed of approximately 108 mph.
