Cool find. These are my favorite kinds of ferries.

This is actually a Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull (SWATH.) They have the similar concept as the hydrofoil, i.e. limiting the area of the ship that contacts the water in order to reduce drag and increase speed.

That's cool, alfjion. I called them SWATs but gamma is correct, they are fast catamarans as he points out.

The ship's name is either the Max Mols or the Mads Mols. Both high speed cats ferry the Århus-Sjællands Odde route. They are both built by Incat.
