This house was purchased in 1956, when Presley was only 21 years old. He and his family (parents and grandmother) only spent one year here. Elvis’ success brought them enough money to afford an even fancier place to live (Graceland, a two-story colonial house).

In April 1956, a month after settling in this house at 1034 Audubon Drive in Memphis, Elvis Presley hit the charts with "Heartbreak Hotel" which soon reached No. 1 on Billboard.

The house has about 3000 square feet of living space. It was purchased by Uri Gellar under the name of Curb Memphis Nonprofit LLC.

The Hazen's sold this house to the Curb affiliation in hopes of preserving it.
