The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr bought the 200 acre Grade II listed Rydinghurst Estate in 1999 for £2 Million from Count George Bardeau, after it was sitting untouched for 25 years. Starr put the estate on the market for £20 Million in 2014 and moved to Los Angeles. Rydinghurst was bought by Czech billionaire and real estate tycoon Radovan Vitek for £13 Million in 2015.
