Zoom out and this site is full of interesting targets...planes in circular revetments and on airstrips, traincar-like vehicles, missile launchers? And the occassional bomb crater. Anyone know anything about this range in Colorado?

Someone else found this same star and this page [http://www.uer.ca/forum_showthread.asp?fid=3&threadid=20987] (star is the first link in the first thread) suggests that it was made by Anasazi Indians.

These are all part of the Airburst Range. A list of all the targets can be found here. This target is listed as an SA-2 missile site.

This is a mock SA-2 SAM site.
