The property was most recently owned by leonid Teyf, a Russian who, along with his wife, has as been accused of receiving $150M from subcontractor kickbacks in trying to obtain business with the Russian military. Additionally, the Leonid has been accused of plotting to kill their housekeeper's son, over an alleged affair with his wife.
