It is now owned by Joe Houssain, the founder and former CEO of Intrawest Corporation, an Canadian international resort and real estate development company responsible for the success of Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain as well as dozens of award-winning golf courses, villages and developments around the world. Intrawest was sold in 2006 for $2.7 billion dollars.
