This mansion burned down in 2005. Initial reports by fire officials erroneously identified the home as the one used for Wayne Manor in the Batman television series. However, it was used in various TV shows and movies, including Rocky V, Clue, Three Men and a Little Lady, Just Married, Murder She Wrote, and Topper.
Also - the owner at the time of the blaze was Michael Hammer (grandson of industrialist Armand Hammer and father of actor Armie Hammer). He had owned the home less than a year and was renovating it at the time of the fire.
