On Sunday 3rd July 2022 Dusan E7/YU4MNO/P a radio amateur from Serbia reached the summit of Šćit and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 14 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Šćit is 1950 metres (6398 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
