Wharram Percy was a medival village in England. The village was most active during the 10th and 12th centuries. During the 16th century, the last residents were moved and their houses were demolished to make room for fields to be used by sheep.

What's left today:
Historic England have now taken control of the site. The ruin of the church is the only building still visible from a distance. However, the foundations of other buildings can still be found in the fields nearby.
