Alfred R. Camner is a lawyer and the founder, and former Chairman and CEO of BankUnited Financial Corporation. Over 25 years, in which he also served in roles of President and COO, he grew the institution into a $15 billion bank, the largest financial institution headquartered in the state of Florida. He directed the company until his retirement in October 2008.
