The Amphicar Model 770 was developed by the Quandt Group of Germany and produced from 1961 to 1968. Powered by an horsepower inline-4 sourced by the Triumph Herald 1200 in the rear of the car, it was famous for its amphibious abilities with its propellers. It is considered a descendant of the military Volkswagen Schwimmwagen.
