AN/FLR-9, Ramasun Station, Thailand

Non Sung, Thailand (TH)
A Classic Bullseye HFDF antenna array was built at Ramasun air base in Udorn (Udon Thani) in Thailand.

Thanks to lgnewman007 for correcting me on my previous guess.

You are partially correct. The FLR-9 was located at Ramasun Station in Non Soong, Thailand. Ramasun was a base run by the US Army Security Agency. It was NOT an airbase. The Airbase was in Udon Thani. Ramasun was a few miles south of the airbase. I know because I was there in 1970 when the FLR-9 was been built.

It looks like due to the poor resolution of the imagery when this was posted I misidentified the highway as an airstrip - Romulusnr

The antenna array wasn't at the Udorn Royal Thai AFB, it was 12 miles SE on Hwy 2/Friendship Highway at the 7th Radio Research Field Station, aka Ramasun Station, aka Cobra 7. across the street from the village of Ban Non Sung. Was there 75-76. 17.28681963930365, 102.86939069887126
