Ancient City of Eleutheropolis

Eleutheropolis is an ancient Roman and Byzantine city located in modern day Israel. Roman Emperor Septimius Severus gave Eleutheropolis the title of city.

Only a small section of the city remains today. Among these remains are several foundations and walls of buildings. The most notable structure among the ruins is the amphitheatre.
