Home field of the ANAHEIM Angels.

"...Angel Stadium is the current configuration of what was originally Anaheim Stadium, also known as "The Big A." The stadium was built by the City of Anaheim to house the California Angels in 1966 when the club moved from playing at Dodger Stadium to its own park.

Originally built for $24 million with a capacity of 43,000, it was enclosed in 1979 to accommodate the Los Angeles Rams, who played in the facility until they moved to St. Louis following the 1996 season. It was during this time that the stadium's all-time baseball attendance record of 64,406 was set, for Game One of the 1982 American League Championship Series vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. The venue played host to other football events, including the pre-season Pigskin Classic from 1992-95 and the post-season Freedom Bowl from 1984-94.

After the departure of the Rams, a $117 million renovation was undertaken to restructure the facility to baseball only and a 45,050 capacity." --www.lasports.org
