Margret and her husband. actor Roger Smith, purchased this house in 1968, a year after they got married. Smith died at home in 2017. Margret continuous to live there.

The home was previously owned by Hollywood actors, Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall in the early 1950's, and by Austrian born Hollywood actress and inventor, Hedy Lamarr in the mid 1940's.
