This is not the home of Arunah Shepardson Abell. It was the home of his son, George Abell.

According to the Baltimore Sun (link above), both Arunah Shepardson Abell and his son George Abell passed away before the "Abell Mansion" was completed.
The mansion was sold in Dec 2018 for $2,035,000.

I restored and owned this home over a 16 year period. George Abell had it built, and lived another year before dying at the young age of 46. George was the president of the Baltimore Sun at that time. Arunah was the founder of The Sun.
