Asif Satchu is the Co-CEO of Valence Media, a diversified and integrated media company with divisions in premium television, wide release film, specialty film, live entertainment, digital media and publishing. Media Rights Capital is an American independent film and television studio founded by Mordecai (Modi) Wiczyk and Asif Satchu. Its work includes the television programs House of Cards and Ozark as well as the films Ted and Baby Driver.
Other films include Babel, The Adjustment Bureau, Elysium, Furious 7.
Prior to Valence, Mr. Satchu co-founded MRC and served as its co-Chairman and co-CEO.
Previously, Mr. Satchu built StorageNow, Canada’s third largest self-storage company.
He also founded and led SMKT, a billion dollar supply chain management company.
Mr. Satchu was an investment professional at hedge fund Tiger Management Company, private equity fund Westbrook Partners, and Morgan Stanley. He is a graduate of McGill University and Harvard Business School.
His brother Reza has been one of his early business partners and owns homes in Vero Beach and Inclince Village.
