On Sunday 30th October 2022, Tolis SV6KVG/P and Chrysoula SV6NOL/P, a couple of radio amateurs from Greece reached the summit of Astraka and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 16 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band

The summit of Astraka is 2432 metres (7979 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
