The motocross track has been replaced by a dirt oval for karts. I got an unexpected 2-for-1 bonus on my first visit to Baer today. Both the main track and the dirt oval held races at the same time.

The track closed suddenly in July 2014 after the promoter got frustrated with uncooperative racers. Time will tell if another party steps up to reopen the track.

With a new promoter running the program, the speedway reopened for the 2015 season. I stopped here for a quick look in May, and I found that the dirt track was no longer there.
