Barclay Farmstead: Pics and Stories

LocationsBarclay Farmstead, beside being an NRHP site is also a fabulous place for nature, especially if you're into bird watching. Approved by the N.J. Birding & Wildlife Trails, National Recreation Trails & N.J. Audubon, this beautiful oasis is a must see. The kids and I went here in August armed with cameras and a lot of patience and were rewarded with terrific pics of the birds features on the interpretives located here at the Farmstead. We also pick apples from the authentic period orchard (if there is such a thing). When all that gets old, boring and stale, there is the playground fun for all ages also located here. We love to visit and have such wonderful memories and best of all it is free!
