This picture doesn't do the island any favors. The attached picture shows the beauty. The bell shaped mountain which inspired the name of the island as named by English artic explorer, Benjamin Leigh Smith. His cabin is also visible in the picture.
The island is located in the south-west of the Franz Josef Land archipelago in Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia.
