Bellevue Airfield (abandoned): Pics and Stories

Been here before to find a geocache (Ghosts of Runways Past). http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?id=91641
Much of the original airfield has been built upon. The rest is run by the city parks department. Theres some sort of electrical substation nearby.
There are still remains of the paved runway and taxiway. The runway line is still visible; I presume the runway number is buried under the dirt and grass that is reclaiming the land.
