Benjamin Jiaravanon has been President of Strategic Planning Group of Charoen Pokphand Indonesia since 2002. From 1996 to 2002. Charoen Pokhpand, part of the major Thai-based group, is Indonesia’s largest producer of animal feed, chicken meat, shrimp production and has interests in other consumer goods. Founded by Sumeth Jiaravanon. Benjamin and Jialipto run the Indonesian operation. according to Globe Asia magazine in 2018 he had an estimated net worth of US$1.6 billion.

Benjamin is married to Erlian Katuari, the third daughter of Wings Group founder William Katuari.
