On Sunday 26th June 2022 Manuel HB9DQM a Swiss radio amateur, reached the summit of Bifertenstock/ Piz Durschin and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

Manuel made 43 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metres amateur radio band.
