Björn Rune Borg (born 6 June 1956) is a former World No. 1 tennis player from Sweden. Between 1974 and 1981 he won 11 Grand Slam singles titles. He won five consecutive Wimbledon singles titles and six French Open singles titles (an Open Era record second only to Rafael Nadal). He is considered by many to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
