1/2 and 3/8 mile clay oval tracks. Sprint cars, late models, modifieds, and stock cars race here on Friday nights.
Originally a 5/8 mile oval when built in 1949, it was downsized to a half mile in 1976. In 2002, the smaller oval was created, and the larger track was no longer used. New track management in 2008 resurrected the half mile circuit. In the past, the track was also known as Black Hills Motor Speedway, Rapid Valley Race Track and Rapid Valley Speedway.
With a mobile home neighborhood literally right next to the back stretch, the races are often cut short due to a curfew.
