The statue of the Blessed Christ was erected on March 25, 2015. Consisting of five granite blocks, with a height of 8.5 m and a weight of nearly 50 tons, the statue is the largest granite statue depicting Jesus in Europe.
The statue also functions as one of the stops on the more than 1,400 km long Maria pilgrimage route.
