When the forty-year-old waitress shouted to her sixty-year-old boss, "Mama, do we have any take out menus here?" I knew I was in the right place. Blue Mist Bar B. Q. is the kind of place movie directors scout out--beautiful early '60's decor (blue vinyl, wood panelling, Coca Cola sign over the grill) and the clientele to match. Hog heaven!

And the trefe ain't bad, either. The pork has a delicious, smoky flavor, and the slightly thick dipping sauce is the perfect complement. The Blue Mist has been in operation since 1948, and it shows.
