On Monday 4th July 2022 Christopher N8PEM a radio amateur from Columbus, OH reached the summit of Boardman Ridge and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 14 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
