Robert A. Garvy is the president and CEO of INTECH, a firm manages equity portfolios in core, growth and index styles. INTECH was a pioneer of the application of a purely mathematical approach to the investment process, and has extensive experience in this form of portfolio management.

He was previously SVP and Principal at Wilshire Associates, a well-known and respected investment consulting organization. At Wilshire for 12 years, he was a co-founder of Wilshire's consulting division and assisted in the growth and development of the division into one of national prominence. Wilshire is known for its Wilshire 5000 Total Market Index and its founder, Dennis Tito, who paid $20 million to become the first space tourist with a trip to the International Space Station.
