On Friday 5th August 2022 Wioletta 4O/SQ9NOT/P and Leszek 4O/SQ9MDF/P two radio amateurs from Poland reached the summit of Bobotov kuk and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 122 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Bobotov kuk is 2523 metres (8278 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
