Was stationed here in 1971-1972. I worked the Cobra flight and One night on the Northeast corner post, I looked out of my guard shack and there was a moose just standing there. It was pretty impressive for a city boy from Hamilton Ohio to see a moose up live and personal.

Stationed at 74th ADMS from 1963 to 1967. We were lodged in a hotel in Duluth. Has some very interesting and scary experiences while there. Came a boy, left a man.

Stationed there in 1996-1968. In those years there could not have been a better duty station. I left in '68 after a motorcycle accident.

66-67 Great bunch of people. I was only there 18 months. Always nervous entering building to safe a missile.

Station at the 74th from September 1963 to March 1967. Met some great people. Regret was very cold winters. Realized how cold it was when Lake Superior would steam before freezing solid. Four of us drove up to Kakabeka Falls, Canada for a weekend.
