On Saturday 9th July 2022 Chris F/HB9CYV/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Boule du Diable (est) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 15 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Boule du Diable (est) is 1120 metres (3675 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
