The Beachfield slug catcher (a slug catcher removes condensate from natural gas) and gas distribution facility onshore at Guayaguayare receives gas and condensate from the Mahogany gas field, some 50 miles east of Galeota Point. This gas is distributed via 36-inch pipeline to the Atlantic LNG site at Point Fortin, 47 miles away, while the condensate is removed from the gas and sent to bpTT's Galeota Point Terminal via a six-inch pipeline.
