"A French Provincial-style mansion in Winnetka is back on the market for just under $5.5 million, about 20% less than the previous asking price of $6.8 million. Brian Porter paid $2.4 million in 1995 for the 10,000-square-foot residence on Indian Hill Road in the north suburb. The updated home, built in 1928, sits on nearly two acres and has six bedrooms, five full bathrooms and an indoor basketball court. Mr. Porter, a self-employed commodities trader, listed the home for $6.8 million for about 12 months before taking it off the market in February 2010.
