The Missouri Valley Historical Society established this open air museum on the grounds of the Missouri Valley Fairgrounds in 1992. The village features actual buildings from 1897-1935, which were moved to this location.

Among the buildings featured in the town: school, store, post office, bank, barber shop, railroad depot, coal mine camp, service station, aviation hangar, blacksmith shop, hotel, church, and homes.
