On Sunday 3rd July 2022 Marco SP9BIJ/P a radio amateur from Poland reached the summit of Bystrá and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 54 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF amateur radio band.
The summit of Bystrá is 2248 metres (7375 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
