There is a pond there now. These are athletic fields for several schools.

If you pan to the right, there is a parking lot at the water treatment plant... take a closer look at the parking lot. You will see the three elevator doors for c-94!

The site of what was known as the Libertyville Naval Outlying Field now has an Illinois Historical Marker, sponsored by American Legion Post 1247, dedicated to the almost 18,000 Naval pilots who qualified as aircraft carrier pilots there during WWII.
