Cadillac CTS-V Sedan (2nd Generation)

Cadillac CTS-V Sedan (2nd Generation) (StreetView)
The second-generation Cadillac CTS-V began production in the summer of 2008 and publicly released in the beginning of November of that year as a 2009 model, lying on the then-new Sigma II platform. Suspension used for the front is a control-arm arrangement while in the rear sits a multi-link suspension. The 6.2 liter supercharged OHV V8 is the same engine found in the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1, producing 556 horsepower and 551 lb ft of torque. It can reach 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds for manual transmission-equipped units and 4.1 seconds for cars with the automatic, and respective top speeds of 175 (theoretically 186) and 191 miles per hour. The large difference of speed is due to the fact that units coming with the automatic transmission had their top speeds electronically governed.
