Capital Gazette Shooting Site

The bottom left of this capture is the building where the Annapolis, MD newspaper, "Capital Gazette", is headquartered, in the suburb of Parole. Around 2:34 P.M. on June 28, 2018, a gunman opened fire in the newsroom of the Capital Gazette, killing 4 journalists and a sales assistant, and injuring several, while 170 were evacuated out of the building. The shooter was then identified as 38-year-old Jarrod Ramos with the weapon identified as a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, in which he had a vendetta with the newspaper with a Twitter account used to harass it prior to the shooting.
