At the beginning of the 2nd episode, Morgan and several Kingdom riders cart a wounded Carol back to their safe haven. While en route they pass by a group of abandoned apartment buildings and are ambushed by several walkers. Carol awakens after she falls off the cart and escapes into the woods.
