The Arecibo Electric Power Plant (Central Arecibo) is owned by the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) and has a capacity of 248MW. The plant is located on the coast of Arecibo, Puerto Rico and was built in 1997. The plant burns #2 Bunker Oil.
