The people of Albany may consider the 11 story 400,000 square foot building an eyesore, I find it beautiful and full of character.
The building was built in 1927 for use as dry storage. The walls are three feet (0.91 m) thick. A rail line enters the second floor for easy moving of goods. The building has been bought and sold several times and the cost to demolish it dissuades from doing so.
