Chelsea Handler's Childhood Home

Chelsea Handler is an American stand-up comedian, humorist, television host, actress, and best-selling author.

Throughout her three best-selling books, Handler recounts humorous tales occurring at the house. Probably most well known is about her father who fancies himself a used car salesman who cluttered the yard with broken down cars which never sold. Handler has said that while growing up, she felt like an outsider, telling a reporter, "We lived in this nice Jewish neighborhood...Everyone had Mercedes and Jaguars, and I was going to school in a Pinto.

After continuous pressure from the Handler children to sell the home (see "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang), Chelsea's father gave in and sold the property in 2008.
